For the performance of Comenius school-partnerships the international meetings are crucial. One the one hand, they promote project development and – even more important – on the other they bring together teachers and students from different countries. The exchange of ideas, the common work and the sharing of cross-cultural events promote mutual respect and understanding. Meetings help to learn the details of different school systems, they are a challenge for students who give presentations and work with their peers, and they give the opportunity to visit the landmarks of foreign cultures. Last but not least the meetings lead to lasting friendships both between teachers and students of different countries. In the Science, Maths & CLIL project we had six meetings. The folowing pages give information about them.
